carbenicillin/ampicillin - (Jun/26/2008 )

I'm following a protocol sent to me from another lab which uses carbenicillin for E coli selection. I was hoping to switch this to ampicillin though. The longest inccubation time is 16h @ 28C, so I wouldn't think the amp would degrade in this amount of time.
Does this seem doable? Thx

I have no problem with it, per say. We just don't have any in the lab and we have a ton of amp. As I understand carb is a lot more expensive, too.
