Question on postgraduate study - (Jun/10/2008 )
Hi,
I am a fresh graduate (2:1 degree). In my country, place of a postgrad is limited to 1st honors only and that i could not get into one of them. I have no publication record. Would it be possible for me to get into a postgrad overseas (e.g. UK).
Plx kindly give me some advise.

Do you have a PhD equivalent degree or not?
If yes, you get a postdoctoral position, if no, you can try graduate studies (PhD), or worse, Masters studies.

Just curious... what is a 2:1 degree?
If you have finished your undergraduate degree, you can apply to do PhD in Britain and US.
In Britain, you can get into PhD with a H1 or H2A.
The hardest part is to get a scholarship or a stipend.
