Yeh, I think we should over-rule the Americans and phase out their spelling. I'm an Aussie and we use "s", never "z".
And don't get me started on leaving the "u" out of words such as colour!!!

Because the Americans refuse to accept that the English know how to spell their own language. The british refuse to accept that the Americans know about language. The rest of the world makes do.
