xenograph articles - (Jun/05/2008 )

Hello everyone,
I am preparing for my oral qualifiers and one of my aims that I want to do is a xenograph model. Does anyone know of a place that I can go to read about this model, pros and cons, alternative models etc?

hmmm

I don't have any specific articles to send you, but if you go to pubmed or google and type in "xenograft model development" you should find some good info. it depends on your model. I have several papers relating to my specific model, and I simply typed "all xenograft model" - I study leukemia - into pubmed and found a number of good papers.

I did try that, nothing comes up, I am studying cml leukemia...in google, all that comes up is a bunch of people's data that used a xenograph model

Methods of Molecular Medicine, vol. 70:Cystic Fibrosis Methods and Protocols
Chapter 35 p(537) Xenograft Model of the CF Airway.

Current Protocols in Human Genetics (green book) Volume 3
Unite 13.9 - Gene Delivery to the Airway.
Unit 13.9.15 - Generation of Human Bronchial Xenografts

Engelhardt, JF is an author on both of these suppliments, but they are not on pub med, the green book is pretty popular in labs so you might be able to get a hold of that.
