GFP Tobacco BY-2 cell sorting - (May/30/2008 )
hi everyone
I want to do an experiment with Tobacco BY-2 proptoplast where some of the cells will be expressing GFP and I need to separate the GFP cells from no GFP cells----is the only sorting technique that I can use FACS or is there another technique that I can use?

With GFP, I can't think of any method other than FACS. You may express some other tags (I don't know which in plants), that allow you magnetic sorting. For some BY-2 GFP methods, see these links.
