Hello everyone,

I am wondering whether Food Poisoning and Food borne diseases are the same?? If they are different, how different is it??

To my knowledge,

Food poisoning refers to microbial GI tract infection leading to diarrhoea (and vomiting).
Food borne diseases may be anything contracted from eating some food, affecting any system.
