picking a cell line to perform cell transformation assays - (May/21/2008 )

Hello,

I am currently looking for a resource on performing cell transformation assays in breast cells. I have my protein of interest that I want to test but dont know which breast cells are generally used for these type of experiments? Any tips on where I can get this type of information would be appreciated.

p.s. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread

do you like to use native or oncogenic cells lines?;

often used are oncogenic MCF-7, MCF-10, MCF-12A or immortalized HME1
