lunchtime... - ...whats you lunch today? (May/15/2008 )
My stomach is starting to make funny sounds, so starting another quick reply thread:
What do you eat for lunch at work? Are you bringing your food, do you go for lunch?
Today I brought some salad with me (I love spring when you get fresh vegetables and fruits again), and maybe for the 'vitamins' I will go for an "Austroburger" (a bun with Fleischkäse/Leberkäse) as I am very hungry today!

A chocolate bar, an apple and coffee...
As usual.. . okonomiyaki (*_*)
JEALOUS!!! I loved the lunches at the RCAI when I was there for a week
this looks awesome! What do I need to cook it and most important: can I cook it?
My meal was changed as some good riped goat cheese (from the mountains, think I have to change my nickname ) came over for lunch...big mistake of it. Maybe not the sort of food our friends from asia like
Fish, spinash and pasta.
Cooked by my lovely husband.
However, Bungalow boy, check where is your lunch, because I'm really interested !
I eat at the canteen within the institute. Very cheap and good! d^_^)-yeah!
I just came back from there, where I had:
1° dish: yummy pasta,
2° dish: ham, steamed asparagus and potatoes, raw carrots, (potatoes were very good indeed!!!)
+ 1 apple.
(^O^)-burp!
BB...you forgot the mayo...you eat it with mayo....
I brought my lunch...grilled chicken, roasted potatoes and spring greens with sun-dried tomato dressing....healthy stuff to compensate (in advance) for junk food Friday...

If U can collect all the ingredients then it is as easy as an apple pie. . . but I am not sure how the sauce is made. ε-(´・`) フー
( ̄~ ̄;)Hmmmmmmmm・・・ here are few things I could collect.
= description of Okonomiyaki with a link to recipe of Osaka and Hiroshima style. Osaka might be easy to make but not as good as Hiroshima style. I stayed back for a day jst to check how it is at Osaka. I was disappointed.
= Someone making at home. Not perfect but .. . http://japanesefood.about.com/od/holidaytr...tokonomiyak.htm
= the way they do in Hiroshima. http://japanesefood.about.com/od/holidaytr...tokonomiyak.htm (it's a TV show; so people are weird)

BB that thing looks nice! yoko-ono whatever it's called
i usually go somewhere else to have lunch. the food here is really crappy. a friend had severe intestinal infection and another guy had pancreatitis not long ago, had to be in the hospital for over 1 months
i hope to go to hiroshima one day and try it! two days ago i had sushi, not bad i try to stay healthy at least in the food (you know, to make up for the smoking issue...)
