TRAVEL GRANT - (May/11/2008 )
Hi all,
I am a PhD student and planning to go to a meeting. Since we are not a very rich lab, I also want to apply for a travel grant which is offered by the organisation committee of the meeting.
They ask why I would like to get a travel grant. Are there any tips that you could give me when writing a travel grant.
Would be thankful for any suggestions.

travel grant is not some thing you have to write some thing special for that. Just write them you need travel money to attend the meeting and second they need reference letter for that and your boss can confirm it.
