Collenchyma or sclerenchyma cells in monocot /dicot leaves - (Apr/21/2008 )

Hello everybody,

I'm confused about plant leave structure. I found 2 contradictory texts that describes the leave stucture but in disagreement. One says that there is a collenchyma cells in the leave, the second one says that sclerenchyma cells exist in leave (surrounding the vascular buncdle). Please, someone knows what is the true structure ?
Is it collenchyma or sclerenchyma in the leave structure ?

Thank you a lot for any answer

sclerenchyma is found in woody plants, i.e. those with secondary growth (trees). collenchyma in herbaceous plants, surrounding the vascular bundle.
this is a great link for doubts.
