Spinner bottle condensation - (Mar/18/2008 )

Hi, we have just started growing HeLa S3 in spinner bottles and found that we have large amount of condensation on the inside of the bottle facing the walls of the incubator. We have an older , not a water-jacket wall incubator. So I wonder if it possible that walls are a bit colder than the rest of the environment.
I afraid that excessive condensation will concentrate my media.
Any solutions would be very helpful.
Thanks.

I wonder if the stirer is adding additional heat to the flask, if so you may have a problem on the growth. Regarding the evaporation/condensation, if the volume estimated is within 5-10% of the total volume of the medium, it may be ok. Just shake it off.
