Can matured white blood cells be immortalized by transfecting certain genes?

Sure. B-cells can be immortalized by infection with epstein bar virus. With the appropriate combination of genes, you could do it by transfection or transduction. Not sure what the minimum number of genes would be. hTERT, Ras, E6 and E7 would be some contenders.

Thank you. Because my previous trial to make hybridoma was failed, I think immotalization of the B cells by transgenesis may be more efficient.
