Frozen Antibody Lifespan - (Mar/04/2008 )

hey guys, would anyone happen to know how long an antibody can be frozen for? i used a dilution of an antibody that was made in 2004 and does not seem to be working as well anymore. as such, i will have to thaw out some more. any feedback would be helpful. thanks.

depends on how it was frozen.
if it was at -70'c and never run through a freeze thaw cycle... years.
i've got one made in 2001 that works well.

As suggested, Antibodies that are frozen in -80, can be used even after many times provided they didn't have many freeze thaw cycles. We have an antibody from '98, which works fine.
