Contemplating on types of API test kits - Looking to buy the right kits (Mar/03/2008 )

Dear all,

I hope some of you here deals with the identification of bacteria as I have question regarding the type of kits to get. Our lab plans to get these kit and when checking the site, I got confused over the types of Gram negative kits. Is there as kit which I could use generally in the long run to identify bacteria?

You'll need both a 20E (does Enterobacteriaceae) and a 20NE (does NON-Enterobacteriaceae).
