Help for bacteria culture system. - (Feb/28/2008 )

I would like to coculture two species (different bacteria) in two different compartments of one reactor (or flask). Small molecules (eg., sugars and organic acids), but not macromolecules and bacteria, can freely difuse between these two compartments. Is there any existed culture system or some commercial parts which can be used to achieve my goal?

A dialysis bag or membrane would do this job. Also, check out the Corning Transwell system.
