ES quailified FBS vs normal FBS - (Feb/28/2008 )

Just wondering, is there any adverse effects of using ES qualified FBS on 293T?
Will there be adverse reduction in transfection efficiency?

I accidentally bought the es qualified FBS instead of the normal ones.

How did you buy FBS without testing it out first. One has to test out different batches of FBS and try them out on cells and having found them to be good, one orders a whole lot from the same batch.

If you have already tried them, then its not a problem, is it. The only way to know if it will be fine or not, is to try it out.
