Hi there,

Just wondering, are there Principal Investigators here? In this forum?

Yes... We don't usually bite, and have even been known to be somewhat friendly.

Haha.
Well, I'm actually hoping to see more PIs in this forum but wouldn't want my boss to know who I am.

phage434, what will U think if U discover someone from your lab in bioforum who has posts exclusively in chit-chats.

In this internet time, everyone needs a virtual place to vent. I would encourage my lab fellows to use forums like this one to troubleshoot problems.

I wouldnt want my PI to know I am here as well. It will be abit odd. But it is good to have PI who has more experience to guide the new people here like me.

-timjim-

yes, it's good that PI participate in such forums to help those in need tongue.gif

At least some of them pretend to be human. The ultimate evidence is still missing.

as I understand, BioForum is an open forum for all enthusiasts in Biology, I suppose most are professionals, and from these, most appear to be PhD students or postdocs;

I do not really understand why it would be a problem if a supervisor knows about your engagement at BioForum unsure.gif
