How to kill proliferating cells but not arresting cells? - (Feb/10/2008 )

Hello everyone,
A cell population is treated with a drug. Most of the cells continue to grow while a small portion of them stop growing. I am interested in these growth arrested cells. My question is how to kill those proliferating cells?
Thank you.

try anti-mitotics. They kill most of the dividing non-neuronal cells in our cultures. You will have to adjust the concentrations.

Thank you Scolix,
I will check it out. What kind of anti-mitotics do you use?

we use 3 of them together.

Cytosine β-D-arabinofuranoside
Uridine
Fluoro-deoxyuridine
