about paper submission to "plant molecular biology reporter" - (Jan/03/2008 )

hi everyone.
I have submitted a paper about "DNA isolation from one kind of flower" to "plant molecular biology reporter" on Sep 20. I have contacted the journal by online submission system for two times and e-mail to the Editor-in-Chief. The latter have not replyed and the former replyed that he would keep remind the editor. Till now, the status of my submission is always "Editor Assignment Pending" .
I am in very urgent condition. Please help me. Tell me how to contact the Editor-in-Chief or the journal. I am just wondering that my manuscript has been send to reviewers or not? Help help help. Thank you very much

i think you should ask your boss to help you on this mail phone or whatever that may help.

Talk to your boss, if it’s still "Editor Assignment Pending" may be you should consider sent it to other journal, may be with other title and changing a little adapting to other journal and may be write the first one saying you can’t wait for so long, so please don’t consider the paper for revision any more.

But first call the editor.

Thanks for fred_33's help very much. In addition, the "plant molecular biology reporter" replyed that the previous editor had no duty on the job and a new editor had taken on it. So our paper may have some response in 1-2 weeks. The problem puzzled me is really solved. Thank you for all your kindlyl help.
