recover peptide in solution - question of how to recover peptide about 1500 Da from solution (Dec/14/2007 )

Dear All,

I need to recover some peptide (MW 1500D) from the solution for conjugating to BSA later. Here are the problems:

* there is ethanolamine in the solution right now, will it interfere with the conjugation to BSA using glaglutaraldehyde?
* for dialysis, the peptide is too small
* will TCA precipitation work with peptide?

Yes, it will.

probably not. See if ion exchnage chromatography will work.
