Minimal media - else than M9 (Nov/23/2007 )

Hi,
I would like to know if anybody here kown different minimal medium than the M9
Thank you

Monod developed a large panel of minimal media recipes back in the 1950s. M9 and M63 are fairly common and available commercially, but there are many others.

M63: PARDEE, A . B., F. JACOB, and J. MONOD, 1959 JMB 1:165-178. Use the references for this paperr to trace back other minimal media.

Many other labs have developed minimal media recipes as well.

I know of MEM and DMEM and there's some for insect cultures that's close to being minimal. Invitrogen makes a lot of them.
