MCF7 and HCT116 transfections - what protocols have worked for you? (Jun/19/2004 )

I'm struggling to transfect MCF7 and HCT116 cells with an enzyme I want to study, and I was curious to note what protocols have worked for you in the past -- both Lipofectamine and Calcium phosphate have failed in the transient transfections I have conducted. Our lab has struggled with transfecting these cell lines in the past, and I am trying to troubleshoot the problem -- thanks for the help! Bo

You can do a literature search using PubMed and the query "mcf7 AND transfection", you will get some papers in which people reported transfecting those cells.
