cytokines anf growth factor expression in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells - Stem cells (Nov/03/2007 )

Hi,
plz tell me in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells normaly which cytokines and growth factor express.IL-3,IL-7,SCF AND GM-CSF express normally or not and they involve in mobilizationof stem cell or not.plz anybody know about any article or have any knowledge about them plz tell ma .i need urgent reply.Thanks

Are you trying to grow these stem cells and wish to know what cytokines to add to the culture? Do you think that the cytokines are involved in the movement of these cells?

No i am not going to add these cytokines in medium.i just want to know normal gene expression of these cytokines from rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.that's it.

Genes expression of these cells are done first in the cell's cycle, and then later, the cell division genes are expressed in this cycle. As you know the cells can differentiate into many cell types based on stimulators - - based on the genes expressed by cytokines. As far as the kinds of cytokines used to grow stem cells, the types are il-3, il-6, tgf, csf, flt, tpo and scf. The normal anounts of cytokines expressed by these cells throughout the cycle is lower than these growth cytokines in culture. That's for sure! What you want to know is not available to me. Perhaps you wish to alter gene expression genetically, but I only do it with cytokines.
