is there a possibility to get adipocytes or pre-adipocytes from stem cells?

umbilical cord for example? Is there any paper (I confess I was too lazy to search for it. I still have over 100 abstracts to read, I can't take any more...)

Adult mesenchymal stem cells are really easy to differentiate.
Here's a reference:
The STRO-1+ marrow cell population is multipotential. Dennis JE, Carbillet JP, Caplan AI, Charbord P. Cells Tissues Organs. 2002; 170(2-3):73-82.
