Positive control - (Oct/18/2007 )

I have been noticed why almost papers that perform DNA fragmentation or DNA laddering assay no have positive control.

And which cases have to determine positive control or which cases have not to determine positive control.

Another question

I will observe caspase 3, 8, and 9 in apoptotic cells, I want to know that Caspase activity and western blot which one suitable to each caspase and what the information that them provided.

Thank you very much

Caspases and cleaved caspases or other caspase-cleaved substrates can be monitored by immunoblots; some companies (Cell Signal Techn., BD etc) offer antibody sampler kits with various Ab´s
