What's an "electrophilic trap"? - (Oct/04/2007 )

Has anyone heard of this? I've been Pubmed'ing and Google Scholar'ing it, but I haven't come across anything that tells me what it is.

I think it is just non-covalent binding of a fully/or partially negatively charged ion/ or molecule

It may also refer to a reactive group for electron-rich functional groups, such as an SH- group. See the link to a freely acessable article for more detail about how it was used to conjugate two proteins using this "trap" mechanism. It is new to me too.
