collect secreted proteins in cell culture media - (Sep/27/2007 )

Hi, there,

my interested proteins are secreted by cells. I want to do WB to show their expression. I am wondering how to collect them in cell culture media. Does anybody have such experience?

You can just take the medium, spin down to get rid of debris and such, then run gel and do WB as normal.

you may also concentrate them with centricon comlumn, and the i would dialyse to get standard protein storage buffer (glycerol at least).
