storing unstained cells overnight for FACS next day - (Aug/22/2007 )
has anyone ever tried storing splenocytes overnight and staining them and running FACS the next day?
i stained too few cells and have to repeat FACS with more cells but can't do it today, my boss told me to leave cells overnigt in a fridge and stain them tomorrow
does it work?

I have not done that myself but my senior told me I can keep Thymocytes for max 2 days.

Dear kasiorek,
That is perfectly fine.You can store the cells in fridge.
But don't forget to fix with ethanol.\Even you can keep for three to four days in fridge.

i left the cells not stained and not fixed overnight in HBSS-2% FCS and the next day they were fine
