determination of virus concentration - empty viral concentration (Aug/16/2007 )

Hi,
could somebody recomend me how to determine concentration of empty phages or viruses? I need to know how much empty virons in my solution.

People measure the OD of the total virus and the infection titer of the virus. The difference tells how much empty viral particles are present.

thanks I wll try! Do u have a some idea how to empty or rupture virus with different chemmicals, but capsid protein should NOT be denaturated?
