sad news - (Jul/12/2007 )

my laptop's hard disk crashed and i lost everyting..............word files, excel files, canvas files and a library of papers in pdf format

all my pictures in japan life.............everything gone

i was writing my first paper..........luckily that one is saved becuase once i transferred it into my memory stick

just pray for me
i am trying to finish my phd degree in next march

This is really bad.. I understand how you feel.. Perhaps next time you need to have back up sfor all the files that you can't afford to lose.. As for pictures, I often burn them into a CD.. for my collection.. and it saves space...

Hope you can recover some of your stuffs.. results!!!!

I think hard driver rescue service can help. You may want to check it out. It may cost you $$. If it is important to you, you may have to do it.

yes that's a true sad news. I can understand your thoughts as it happened toi me in end of june with my start of thesis manusxript... unsaved

I am sorry about the laptop. Computers seem to be crashing as sson as someone is writing things.

My laptop crashed just before I was starting to write my thesis.

sorry to hear that. I understand that there are companies that do recover data from damaged hard drives. I don't know much about them but perhaps it is worth a look see.

Sorry to hear about your laptop, that is just horrible. To brighten your day: You are not alone, some months ago our computer for the CCD camera we use for western blots crashed, it was quite new so nobody thought it would happen. A whole labs westernblots were lost...

Always make backups

well since now, were you able to recover sthg from your hard drive ?...
