Peat soil pH - (Jun/13/2007 )

Does anyone know the pH of peat soil?
I have been searching in the net for days but unfortunately can't find an appropriate journal or paper regarding peat soil pH.

I'm will start doing my final project within this few days regarding pineapple micropropagation. So i would like to manipulate the pH of the culture media for the pineapple propagation. If i can find out the pH of the peat soil, then i could design my experiment more accurately.

the pH will depend on where you got the peat from, and what it is made of, but all peat soils are acid. check out this linkPlantanwsers, it was the first one I got in a google search!
