what is CDS primer used as a control for QPCR in CHIP? - (Jun/06/2007 )

It seems a very simple answer I guess. But I do not know. This guy who give me the protocol not seem a good one to communicate, so I ask here.

Do you guys know? What is this CDS primer? Thanks a lot.

I can only assume that they were referring to a set of primers which fall within the coding region of a gene. CDS is used in the Genbank reference on NCBI to refer to the coding region of a gene. It adds up when you are looking to use QPCR. That is all I can work out without further detail, was there a particular gene mentioned??

Thanks. It is just a primer unspecific to my target sequence as a control. And the guy gives a very weird name.
Thanks again
