my friend but some microarray chips from Takara. but something wrong with the chip even she process the chips follow exactly what the protocol said. she also did some optimization after failed for the first time. but still the chip looks complete blank when scanned. she try to contact Takara. she is a Japanese but she write her e-mail in English as she thought people there deal with US and other country around the world, so they can understand English. however, the specialist there couldn't understand her problem and keep on giving her useless info like long protocol of methods and optimization...... etc etc etc...
this is our first time deal with Takara... but very bad impression on their product and attitute.

It would be nice if more companies offered samples to places outside the USA.. like Australia for example!

Would love to try some of their polymerases

I would just aks the reps for a couple of samples. Tell them you plan to do a lot of reactions, and that you need to know their enzymes will be OK.
