any kit or reagent for extracting both DNA and RNA from the same cell culture - (May/30/2007 )

Is there any kit or reagent for small scale extraction of both DNA and RNA from the same cell culture?
I tried to extract DNA and RNA seperately using regular phenol-chloroform protocol, but the yield is not good.

You may look for Trizol, from Invitrogen.

You can purify RNA, DNA and proteins from the same cells.

I would also go for Trizol. If you have a lot of moeny to spend, you can use the Allprep Kit by Qiagen, which combines silica based purification fo RNA and DNA.
