how to prepare Abeta for cell culture - how to the solution sterile (May/30/2007 )

Hi, everybody, I wanna prepare Abeta1-40 solution to PC12 for the AD model, to make sure the peptide stay monomer in the solution, we can dissovle in HFIP,and dry the amount needed in nitrogen before use.
I am a fraid that the process is not sterile, so I ask for a method that can prepare the Abeta1-40 solution sterile and monoer.

thank you in advance for any suggestion!

Hi..
if you use high grade HFIP and you dry the amount needed under the sterile hood...you will be on the safe side smile.gif
good luck with Abeta! (it's a pain to mantain monomer!!)
