Transfection of cryopreservative cells - (May/27/2007 )

Hi I started cryopreservative cells and I wonder how many passages I need to do before I can do the transfection experiment on these cells.

Thanks

transfection efficiency depends on various things among them, the type of cells; oncogenic cell lines are more less better to transfect than non-oncogenic immortal cells or primary cells;

you may offer which types of cells you use to discuss in more details...

You can do transfection after one pass.

I thaw cell, passage it once, then transfect them.
