How to thansfer the single clone - (May/14/2007 )

After transfection and selection by zeocin, the single clone in the dish are to be transfered for expanded culture. How to transfer the single clone by not using limited dilutions? Could anyone give a simple and easy method to complete it?

Thank you so much!

we use sterile cloning discs, which are small round filter paper like discs which you can wet with trypsin and put on desired colony to be cloned. Transfer the discs after your usual trypsin time to a new well, preferably small well depending on the number of cells in the cell colony.

3mm(smaller) is easier to use for me, good luck! wink.gif
