Introns - (May/01/2007 )

Hello all,

I am trying to look for intron sequences for a couple of genes, since I am interested in scanning them to llok for potential binding sites for a transcription factor. this transcriptio factor p53 has been shown in previous studies to bind DNA sequences within the introns of some of its downstream target genes.
I am interested in searching for introns for some genes of my interest. Is there a war to search for introns.

Thank you,

Pooja

If your genes of interest are in Ensembl, you can find information using the transcript view and the exon view.

Thank you for the input. I will let you know if I succeed in getting ht introns from my genes.
