GRE-like Exams - Please help to advice! (Apr/27/2007 )
I am not sure this will be the right thread or not. Oh well, here it goes.
I will be taking a test for a PhD programme. They just mentioned something like this:
Subject-GRE like:
10 essay questions and 35 multiple choice questions in the basics of
Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Immunology.
The time for it is about 2-3 hours.
Any advices? Any suggestion? Any books to recommend for me to revise?
I had never taking a course on Immunology. What are the basics for all the field mentioned?
Please help. I have less than 2 weeks to prepare for it.
Thanks guys and girls of course
If it is not the GRE subject then nobody is going to be able to suggest much of anything to you because we don't know the parameters of the exam. I would just go through summaries of mol. bio. of the cell, and principles of biochemistry, and some immunology book. Memorize the figures.
good luck.
It is invited examination. I passed their first stage of screening.
I will give it a try, whether I know everything or not.
Haha.. thanks for the advices, perhaps I might be taking GRE guidelines to study for this exam.
How I hope I will pass through this stage.
