with a very heavy mind , i am writing to u............how can I get rid of my bad luck????? 
Open sufficent numbers of fortune cookies, don't pay attention if a black cat passes by, use unobtainium in your experiments, and honour Murphy's law and draw your conclusions out of it.

Perhaps, for all the reagents and enzymes that you are using for your experiments, you should pray before use.
Alternatively, you may want to invite a feng shui master to have a visit to your lab.
believe that you dont have it anymore. turn it around!
(speaking from experience - i have been in the same frame of mind and turning it around yourself is both the hardest thing to do, and the thing that will work!)
may try to befriend with someone who is always lucky...then you may get some good influence from him and become lucky. 
alternatively you may simply pass your bad luck to them - same result for you (if slightly more cynical)

Choose a descriptive research project. My whole career I have been doing projects that were risky (aka high risk/high reward) that have always led to negative results. Until my luck changes I am going to simply publish descriptive papers where I get results either way.
