Panomics Methylation Promoter PCR Kit - (Jan/24/2007 )

Any one tried the "Methylation Promoter PCR Kit" from Panomics?
It is based on MeCP2 binding... But does MeCP2 really bind all metylated sequences? I mean isn't there a risk that some methylated sequences aren't recognised by MeCP2? Seems quite easy to use otherwise...

haven't tried the kit, but your statement is entirely true, MeCP2 may not bind to every promoter and may not be suitable for your needs.
