Epithelium cell purification - (Jan/19/2007 )

Dear all,

I going to establish epithelium cell line isolated from cancer patient, but I got a problem from contamination with fibroblast cell.
I don't know how to purifie the epithelium form those cell, so could you please suggest me for this work.

Fibroblast attach faster to a substratum, you can take advantage of this property of fibroblasts. After seeding cells in tissue culture flask remove medium after 15 min and put in another flask. First flask will have fibrobalst attached to it and second flask wil have maximum number of epithelal cells. If you do this 2-3 times you should be able to get rid of the fibroblast contamination.
