DNA markers - Gel run agarose or PAGE (Dec/21/2006 )

hi,

while running the PCR amplified product of STS pimers and SSR primes on agarose gel, what will be the difference between banding pattern? i.e approximaely how many bd will come for STS and SSR primers?

hem not sure about what's the really meaning of ssR, but in a pcr, you have a band for your pcr product, and if you have added a bunch of template you may see it too. finally primers form a unique big band (a smear that would have 50 to 150 bp "size" in a 1% gel)
