Pages: 1 2 3 Next

Hello BioForumers,

I just joined this forum, thus I want to introduce myself:

My name is Laksmindra Fitria. I am a student of Department of Biology at Postgraduate School of Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am a new staff in Department of Animal Physiology, Faculty of Biology Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am taking postgraduate program to get my Master Degree in Reproductive Biology/Endocrinology/Immunobiology. I want to mix those three sciences into one topic. Now I am on my research for my thesis. It is about the use of potential natural resource for male aphrodisiacs. Unfortunately I got problems for some methods in my research. That's what brought me to join this forum, whether you could help me. In addition, I also want to have friends from the same science all over the world, that we can talk not just biology but also everything we are interested on. Thank you.

If you want to know any further, feel free to ask me here or e-mail me. I am sorry for my poor English.

Best regards to all of you!

Thank you, my Lady. Hey I love your avatar, antigen binding eh? smile.gif I bet you are into Immunology. That's cool! I am starting into that field too. Maybe you can be my private tutor then hehe wink.gif

@Kathy-san:
Domo arigato gozaimasu! wink.gif Nice to meet you here! I hope we could be friends here, sharing A to Z thingy biggrin.gif

Welcome biggrin.gif

Sounds like you've found a very interesting topic there! Although, knowing the males I know (and completely ignoring all the scientific benefits), I have no idea why you'd want to find more natural aphrodisiacs! tongue.gif

-goldie-

Thank you, goldie smile.gif

Well, actually not for just aphrodisiac thing, that's the first step of my 'project'. I am trying to bridge between phylosophy of Chinese traditional medication and 'modern' medication viewed from scientifical approach. One of very famous Chinese materials for medication is the one that deals with male reproductive system, which actually it deals with almost all body systems. Amazing huh? smile.gif I got stuck on that creature then I decided to dig it as deep as I could biggrin.gif

-Miss L-

Oh wow, the Chinese traditional stuff vs. the "modern" med is a major area of interest, and debate! Sounds like you got a REALLY interesting topic!

-goldie-

Yes, true! wink.gif Unfortunately, due to my limited knowledge of technique, technology and funds to make research/projects, I only could dream so far sad.gif I read many journals and research reports and I wonder "If I could do that method, I would be the happiest one in the world..." sad.gif

Welcome Miss L tongue.gif , you will enjoy it here. I came from the Philippines, but im currently here in South Korea doing research blink.gif huh.gif . Enjoy your stay here rolleyes.gif
