Colouring phylogeny map nodes - (Nov/01/2006 )

Dear friends,

I have been using tree view for visualizing my phylogeny constructs.

I want to colour code the nodes, so as to make easy the identification of different clusters in the map. I would also want to add names near the cluster..saying that it belongs to so and so cluster. How can it be done??

would appreciate any help...

you should try splitstree it´s free and can read .nex and treefiles from phylip, you could edit trees can add colors to each node and branches.

Yes, splitstree is doing the job. That was a really good option you suggested...thanks a lot.
