Thanks a lot dnafactory. And can I use 2% DMSO in cell culture?

I think it's too much. LY is soluble at a concentration of >5mg/ml and PD at 6,5 mg/ml. Cannot you dissolve them at these concentrations and use a small volume?

At my mind, admitted DMSO concentration in cell culture is 0.1%.

as an alternative to DMSO try methanol (solubility up to ~1 mg/ml); if it meets your concentration for use in cell culture it is to prefer instead of DMSO (up to 0.5 % to use but you have control if DMSO makes site effects)

Thanks. Can I have an initial stock of DMSO and then dilute it with media before use?

yes, of course; perform in any case controls with DMSO to cells without kinase inhibitors; you may run different concentrations of your agents to determine an IC50 for your system or to optimize your best inhibition and minimize side effects (inhibition of similar kinases)

Thanks Kosmodrom.
