Can someone point me some recent microarray datasets publicly available in the internet where one knows from lab experiments which are the most important genes, for instance to discriminate between classes?

You could have a look at the ArrayExpress database (a public repository for microarray data) available at EBI. Their website is http://www.ebi.ac.uk/arrayexpress-old/
