Bisuflite modification kit for plant DNA - (Oct/04/2006 )

Hello,

Can anaybody tell me what is the best bisulfite DNA modification kit for plant DNA? we are going to purchase some to analyze methylation of a transgene in N. benthamiana.

Any help would be appreciated!

DNA is DNA no matter if it's plant or mammalian so any of the bisulfite kits available would be amenable for your use.

I would highly reccommend MethylEasy from human genetic signatures as it is a kit that claims to not degrade your DNA while converting it.

Zymo, Chemicon and Qiagen all have modification kits but you seem to lose much of it in the process like using the conventional protocol.
