How to block sepharose A beads? - (Oct/03/2006 )

Hi guys,
I am using protein A sepharose CL-4B beads (Amersham Biosciences) to do my ChIP. Anybody could give me a receipe for blocking these beads? (These beads will be used for both preclearing my lysate and IP). Thanks a lot!!

you can use protocols similar to Wb blocking which means using low-immunogenic proteins such as BSA or skim milk; a very low concentration of triton X-100 (0.01 %) during IP incubation lowers unspecific binding
