fungal contamination - (Sep/09/2006 )
Can anybody send me some picture about fungal contamination in cell culture. I see some dark cell clumps between my cells. Can it be fungal contamination.

I don't have the photo, but you can try using Fungizone® Antimycotic to get rid of it.

Hey sorry to intrude on ur topic; but can someone tell me what this is? I found such growth in 2 of my plates since then banished to solitary confinement. Pl see the attached images.

Did these things grow? Are they still like that? Did the cells around the "clumps" in the second image die and you have empty spaces between the clumps?
